This time of day brings the most serene moments.
Looking forward to 2015’s music.
This past week, I traveled to Massachusetts, where my childhood house is no longer where I stay when I visit. I helped my mom hang paintings and make a new place “Home” …
We visited Cape Cod and this piano really struck a chord with me. It looks so lonely, but lovely. There was a chair placed near the keys … but I kicked it over. And it felt right.
I’ve been absent. I’m sorry. Feeling embattled. But focusing on what a stranger told me years ago: “Don’t let Anyone steal your joy.” Anyone – now taking shape as the death of a loved one, the split of a union, the spinal injury making movement difficult. My dog, right now, makes me smile.
